ReplyDeleteHe whized past loving the way the wind felt in his fur. He howled as he raced on an old beaten path, making a beautifull sound of wind-howl music. He pranced around and felt good after he made his rounds around his favorite places he wheeled around and darted back to the mate clearing. He could almost hear it call him, like a magnet pulling a peice of metal.

He swung his giant head back and forth trying to shake the sent of blood from his nose. He pawed at his face trying to dislodge the look and felling of her claws and teeth ripping at Skeets soft body.

ReplyDeleteHe spun around when he heard a swish of leaves but didnt lunge keeping his instincts at bay. It was Venom, a Guard, of course they had sent out a patrol to look for him. "What do you want?" he spit through his clenched teeth.

Venom flattened his ears and let his sharp white fangs show. "Clawface sent us out to find you." He growled. He signaled with a flick of his tail, and the patrol behind him spread out to circle Rogue.

ReplyDeleteSunray padded along MoonPack's border. She wanted to patrol alone and find more evidence for Clawface. But inside she felt sick with worry for the wolf she loved. What would become of him? She knew her worries were right. Venom WAS spending time with rouges, she was sure of it.
Venom had been scenting for his favorite girl, and he soon trotted up behind Sunray. "Hey Sunray," he barked. "You wouldn't mind if I kept you company, would you?"

He whined another low and high pitched whine. He didnt want to do this! He paced around and darted away anytime a badger came close.

The first badger growled and jerked its head out of the way as the attack came. it's back bristled and it bared a mouthful of sharp teeth as pounded forward, claws ready to rend something - or someone - apart.
ReplyDeleteThe second badger struggled violently under the huge mass of weight on it's back, but that was just too much and it collapsed. It kicked and squealed, but it was down and couldn't regain its footing.
He laughed with a twinkle in his eye. "Bow to your Alpha!" he howled in laughter. He leaped off and lashed out strongly with a flick of his paw, tearing fur and flesh like a strip of moss.

The badger stumbled with a rather irritating wail, and lumbered away into the bushes in defeat, leaving a trail of blood behind it.

Sunray snarled. She had seen the whole thing and now bounded into the clearing. "Is every wolf OK?" she asked.
ReplyDeleteNiagara bounded over to where Whisper was with Jasper. She gave a little whimper. It had been not long ago that SHE had been Jasper's friend. SHE had made Jasper happy, and now it was Whisper. Ignoring them, she turned and stalked off, not caring if they saw her or not.
The second badger was still fighting hard....

Sunray pressed against Venom. She waited for what the other wolves would say, and glanced at Niagara. She shook her head. The little white apprentice was strange.

Alado chuckled under her breath and ran around the badger snapping and barely missing its neck. She dug her paws and making sure her claws dug deeper into the badgers back hoping to scare it away.

She growled. "When will this thing give up!" She snarled and tore at the badger as hard and fierce as she could.

The badger had dodged the first attack - however, the second one wasn't so easy to avoid, and soon a god number of gashes ran down it's side. It growled as the white wolf shredded at it, and backed away into the bushes after its fleeing mate.

Still full of fury Whisper walked away to Jasper. She looked at him. "Are you going to be okay?" She asked. "Are you hurt?" She searched him up and down for any signs of injuries.

"Ugh!" he growled "Being kind isn't to far away from being soft" he growled "If you don't like hurting anyone then why are you hurting your pack by playing with this Omega. Or has he finally found something he is good at?" he spat then turned around to jog away from the group.

Niagara pounded towards Jasper. "Here," she growled. "I'm here. I've been here all along, but you've been too wrapped up in Whisper to even think about me!" She ingnored Clawface and Thunder and Alado and Whisper and rounded on Jasper. "Thanks a lot," she breathed. Then, heartbroken at losing a friend, turned and pounded towards the Apprentice's Den.

He shrugged shrinking down lower not at all seeing truth in her words "Whisper and I were down by the sunning rocks and some badgers came!"

"I'm sorry if I did anything.. but I don't car if Jasper is an Omega. I would rather be an Omega then a Hunter." She statted but muttered her last sentence.

Clawface watched Whisper coolly as she explained.
ReplyDeleteHowever, at her comment on rather being an Omega, she snarled. "You would rather be a burden to your pack than one to support us?" Her ears tilted backward slightly as she resisted flattening them.
"Is that what you want, Whisper? You want to be with him - " she tilted her chin toward jasper " - rather than serving your duty to the pups, the elders, the Hunters and Guards?" Her yellow eyes were narrowed into tiny slits. "I see what you feel. You love Jasper, don't you? Aren't I right?"
She flattened her ears against her head as Clawface scolded her for not wanting to be a hunter. When she came to her last sentance she was to shocked to reply. "L-love J-Jasper?" She asked. Trying to get her words right. "I don't know.." She admitted not meeting anyone's eyes.

Clawface knew she had hit home. Her cool attitude was quickly regained.
ReplyDelete"You think you can hide it." Clawface was beginning to find this utterly amusing. "Honestly, you really are a terrible liar. Listen to yourself. You stand up for one whom none of us else would bother to look at. You'd rather be an Omega than a Hunter. Odd, isn't it Whisper, what love can do to us. It can bend and contort our very beings, so that we would do anything, and everything, in our power to stay next to the ones we love."
Her eyes held a slight spark. "Isn't that right, Whisper."
"Y-yes." She replied a bit confused. "But I will remain a hunter. I can see I am the only one.." Her voice trailed off as she thought about what she had just admitted to everyone.

He nodded getting up and dusting off his pelt. As he walked by Jasper he murmured "Good luck. . .Romeo!" he snorted and started chuckling to himself, snickering and nudging Alado.

Thunder almost passed out "YOU!" he chuckled "You were a puppy-pet?" he wheezed drawing in a long breath.
ReplyDeleteShe snarled. "I left okay?" Looking at her paws she explained. "This is a long story, but when I was born I was, I guess. I don't know what it's called but they kept animals there, we were almost full grown when we got away but before that animals kept getting sick, and our mother got sick and one day she didn't return to our cage after her morning walk. Panu, my brother, and I ended up escaping by Panu biting the handler, and we raced as far away as we could, he was later killed by a pack, defiantly not like MoonPack, I soon found MoonPack and to me, it's StarPack." She looked up to the sky with a smile. "I guess I am part wolf and part what is it you call us? Puppy-pets?" She then turned to Thunder. "Judge me as you will, you didn't judge me before you knew the truth."

ReplyDeleteShe growled under her breath again. "I can't Thunder. You don't get it. Are you trying to put the past in the present? I said I don't want to be judged. I hated being a house wolf. It was horrible, I ran away because of it, and my mother died from being in a house. I wouldn't have left if I knew you would laugh. Or if I knew my brother wouldn't be here now.." He voice drifted off as she thought of her and her brother as pups. With that a smile spread to her face.

Sunray trotted after Venom, twitching her ears. "Nice day, isn't it?" she barked. She sniffed the air and scented squirrel. Crouching low to the ground, she turned and plunged into the undergrowth, reappearing a few minutes later with a plump squirrel in her jaws. "Share?" she asked Venom, glancing sideways at the handsome male.

"Sure, thanks." He settled down next to the ginger she-wolf.

ReplyDeleteRomeo paced the border, leading Phantom, Shinta, Kisharu, and Sky behind him. He stopped to mark a tree, then straightened and sniffed. "Do you smell that?" he asked Sky, who was closest to him. "It smells like...rouge?" He shook his head. "Maybe its just my nose playing tricks on me..."
He shook his head. "No, I smell it too." His hackles rose. "I wonder if it's close."

Kisharu halted and sniffed at a fern "No, thats Venom. Hmmm" she sniffed again "He is close, and he has Sunray with him, and" she sniffed again her eyes getting wider "He was rouge sent" she looked up at Romeo "What does that mean?" she asked quite proud of her sniffer (a.k.a nose lol)

Sunray blinked as Venom settled down next to her, but she shook it off and instead turned towards the handsome wolf. "Venom," she began uneasily. "Um... could I ask you a question?"
