He layed down coveing most of the wound with his tail wincing as he did so. "Thanks Twister"
ReplyDelete~Skeet
Twister wagged her dark tail slightly. She looked up at Nanack and nodded, saying "An argument has led to a fight, and that has led to an injury. Will you help us here?"
ReplyDelete"Yeah, and argument" he spit through his teeth lashing his tail away revealing two long gashes from the bas of his tail to the corner of his jaw. He flinched while doing so and tried to covered it up again with his tail.
ReplyDelete~Skeet
((Mmkay....Thunderstar's waited long enough. I am now taking control of Nanack and powerplaying her. XD If she doesn't post soon I just might get evil and make Nanack a Hunter, and open up the Medic's position to others for the taking...))
ReplyDeleteNanack blinked once as she saw the gash down Skeet's side. "Indeed. Between a pair of guards, I suspect. Wait." The white she-wolf turned and padded over to her herb stores. She returned with a good number of comfrey roots, which she chewed and gently applied to Twister's and Skeet's scrapes. She covered Twister's scrapes with cobwebs.
She then applied a broom Malice poultice to Skeet's long gash, and dressed it in Marigold leaves. "That should do it."
"Thank you." Twister wagged her tail.
"Thanks" he grunted and sweeped his tail on the gash a tiny whimper escaping his lips. "Well thanks Twister Ill be going to the Guards den." he turned to Nanck "You might want to send some dogs to find Rouge...We didnt see him come back to camp"
ReplyDelete~Skeet
Nanack nodded. "I'll let Clawface know."
ReplyDeleteTwister headed for the entrance. Glancing back at Skeet, she said "You sure you'll be all right?"
He nodded his head at her. "Yeah I guess Ill be fine, go get some rest" he barked and layed his head back down.
ReplyDelete~Skeet
Twister winked. She padded through the entrance to the den and disappeared with a whisk of her dark gray-black tail.
ReplyDelete((To the Hunter's Den! Also posted something in the Alpha's den as well...))
~*Nanack*~
ReplyDelete*arranges herbs in her den and curls up in her nest for a good nights sleep*
Mystic looked around the place. She was the Medic of Moonpack now, and she had her very own apprentice, Bud. There was so much that Nanak had tought her, and she felt a pang of grief for her old mentor. Mystic got about rearranging the herbs and medicines, not knowing when her next patient might arrive.
ReplyDelete~Mystic
She sat next to her mentor and rearranged the herbs, placing them in neat piles.
ReplyDelete~Bud
He growled "When can I leave?" he twitched a scarred part of his tail and then he coughed, that shook his whole frame.
~Rouge
"Should I give him something for his cough?" she looked up at Mystic
((lol WF.
ReplyDeleteIn case you're wondering why Rogue is in there Moon, before your welcome back and the posts on Deathstar and Thunderstar's deletion there were two plot posts. Read up on those to find out what happened. ☺ ))
Mystic nodded. "Yes, please do." She returned to her sorting of herbs.
ReplyDelete"Okay!" she grabbed a mouthful of Catmint, ((XD.Wolvemint?? Dogmint)), Chickweed, and Juniper berries. She chewed up all the leaves and gave them to Rouge. "Eat them please and your cough will go away."
ReplyDelete~Bud
He growled but lapped up the herbs, cringing at the taste.
~Rouge
Mystic nodded in approval. "Take him to that nest at the end," she instructed her apprentice, waving her tail at the leafy nest. "When you've put him there, help me clear up. Skeet's arrival has made this den messy." She began to nudge herbs towards the edge of the den and nudge away the moss and bracken dried up in the corners.
ReplyDelete~Mystic~
(LOL, Willowfeather)
"Okay..." she said doubtfully. "C'mon Rouge you have to get up to the nest" she pointed with her tail.
ReplyDelete~Bud
He growled and clenched his teeth as he heaved his mammoth of a body upwards. "Arg!" he lumbered over to the nest and layed down.
~Rouge
She smiled cheekily and helped her mentor to clean up.
~Bud
Mystic made sure that Rouge was comfortable, then nodded at a dried pile of juniper. "Get rid of those, please," she said. "And when you're done, please go and collect some more. With all the pollen in the air we don't want wolves coughing."
ReplyDelete~Mystic~
"Okay!" she shoved at the pile scooping and pawing it towards the entrance. "Do you know a good place for some juniper?"
ReplyDelete~Bud
Mystic blinked thoughtfully. "Try near the Falls," she suggested. "There's a small clearing there where juniper grows."
ReplyDelete"Okay!" she yelped and briskly trotted towards the Falls area using her nose to guide her.
ReplyDelete~Bud
Mystic watched her Apprentice trot off and chuckled to herself. She sweeped up the last of the bracken and carried it outside, deciding to follow her.
ReplyDelete(Next post Falls)
Swinging her hips in a bouny movement she laid the branches down and got ready to pick the berries off.
ReplyDelete~Bud
Mystic quietly slipped in through the back entrance and walked out smoothly to meet her apprentice. "Well done, Bud!" she barked happily. She bent down to help her.
ReplyDeleteHe jumpped up "Whaaat? You were watching me" she raised her eyebrows.
ReplyDelete~Bud
Mystic rumbled gently in her throat. "I needed to see your tecqnique," she explained.
ReplyDelete"Did I pass?" she murmured cheekily.
ReplyDelete~Bud
Mystic gently swiped Bud on the ear with her paw. "Let's get picking." She nodded at the juniper. "I'm going to see how Rouge's doing."
ReplyDelete"Im fine, can I go out to get some fresh air now?" he grumbled in his most polite voice, stretching out his legs and toes.
ReplyDelete~Rouge
((from the Hunter's den))
ReplyDeleteTwister, feeling extremely hollow and empty, poked her nose inside the medic's den.
"Hey, Mystic? Bud? Is Skeet still in here?"
Bud smiled and her eyes twinkled "Skeet hasn't been here for a long time! Go check the WillowTree or. . .the prey-pile? I donno just go looking"
ReplyDelete"Okay," Twister sighed. "Thanks."
ReplyDeleteShe padded off towards the Prey-Pile.
((It'd be rather redundant to say where I'm posting next...XD))
Bud nodded and moved onto sorting herbs, moving them into the store and clearing out old and crumpled ones.
ReplyDeleteRouge rolled his eyes and pushed his way through the brambles, not waiting for an answer. The brambles tugged at his pelt but he didn't care and couldn't really feel them through his large muscles. Making his way through the clearing and to the Alpha's Den he scanned the clearing and breathed in the non-herb polluted air.
ReplyDeleteMystic smiled almost pupishly. "Love?" she barked to herself. Then, shaking her head, she turned to help her apprentice.
ReplyDelete~Mystic~
"Hmm" Bud murmured "I guess I will never be like that. . . .I wonder if I am missing out on anything like that" she sighed almost wistfully.
ReplyDelete(Moon on SG's account)
ReplyDeleteMystic sensed a glimmer of unease ripple through her trainee. "Everything OK?" she asked.
~Mystic~
"Yeah, everything is . . . Ok" Bud murmured turning her head back to the pile of herbs "Are we low on anything?"
ReplyDeleteTumbleweed nosed her way into the Medic's den, limping and favoring her front right paw.
ReplyDelete"Mystic? Bud? I stepped on a thorn...."
"Owch!" Bud laughed picking up some cobweb and marigold. "Its gonna bleed so look away" she advised, locating the thorn with her teeth. She tugged at it and it came out with a tiny fountain of blood. "Bleh" she spat out the thorn, patting cobwebs and marigold on her cut.
ReplyDeleteTumbleweed flinched. She held still though, steady on her skinny brown legs.
ReplyDelete"Okay your done. Just don't put much pressure on the paw, the poultice will rub off" Bud nodded wiping the blood spattered with the leftover cobwebs.
ReplyDeleteTumbleweed nodded. "All right, thank you." Holding her paw up carefully, she waved farewell with a flick of her tail and limped out of the den.
