((Poll is now closed, looks like you guys like the idea of a playlist huh? Cool. I'll get working on it soon!
Now, for the plot which I so lazily neglected and you so kindly contributed to...))
Venom led Sunray out of the camp, intending to show her around the territory. He loped down a beaten deer trail, glancing back at the ginger she-wolf. She looked so beautiful, with her smooth ginger coat blending with the blooming green and brown forest. His pink tongue hung out of his mouth in a very cute way and he barked "Catch me if you can!" He darted off into the woods, the still air breezing lightly through his own deep brown pelt.
Suddenly Venom skidded to a stop. He could smell a familiar scent. A disgustingly familar stench.
The rogues.
What were they doing this far into the territory? The thought pierced a sliver of pure fear in his heart, and he whirled and rushed the other way. Terrible, frightening thoughts ran through his head.
"What if Clawface discovers them? What if they attack the camp ahead of the plan? What if Sunray smells that and flips out? What if I'm found out? What if....what if....."
He whisked past Sunray and pounded back down the trail. Luckily, she didn't suspect anything and raced after him, laughing.

The next day...
Clawface trotted along the same trail, in search of prey. Rogue and Tumbleweed were also in her presence somewhere behind. Rogue had headed off into the bushes, hot on the trail of what smelled like a fat, juicy rabbit that would feed at least two pups.
Clawface pricked one blue-gray ear. She could hear the faint rustling of something under the leaves. She sniffed intently, and picked up the definite scent of vole. The Alpha crouched, and stealthily crept forward. She could see the vole now. It had just emerged from underneath a big, wide maple leaf and was creeping slowly into an old hollow log. Her yellow eyes burned into the prey and she was just ready to spring when suddenly a loud, whining howl echoed from somewhere behind her.
The vole vanished inside the log and Clawface turned. Tumbleweed's almond-shaped eyes were wide. "That sounded like Rogue!"
Clawface didn't answer. Tumbleweed felt a faint breeze as the Alpha passed by her, pelting back the way they had come. She moved so quickly her ears were flattened against her skull by the wind. She could smell something. Something not of her pack. She could hear Tumbleweed behind her.
Clawface burst through a patch of briars. The thorns tore at her coat, but she ignored them and focused on what she saw in front of her. Two wolves wrestled and snapped and tore at what appeared to be Rogue. He was battered, and bloody, and his muzzle was stained with blood. All three of the fighting trio were.
The two strangers were each brown, though oe was smaller than the other. Clawface let out a deafening, raging snarl and leapt into the fray. Almost instantly she clamped her teeth over the bent, deformed paw of one, ad tasted blood in her mouth. This attack was met with a high-pitched whine, and it was soon off into the bushes. The other, seeing it's partner was gone, let out a shriek of terror and followed close behind.
Rogue lay motionless. Clawface could see his side rising and falling, but that wouldn't last long. Turning on Tumbleweed, she growled "Find Nanack! Now!"
Tumbleweed dashed off into the brush.
