THE PACK HAS REOPENED. GO DOWN AND READ THE LAST TWO POSTS RIGHT NOW. LIKE REALLY. RIGHT NOW.

Welcome to Visitors

Greetings. I am Clawface, the Alpha of these parts. I can see you're unfamiliar with my territory, yes? Come along. You'll find something similar to hospitality inside our camp, though not for more than a night or two or you'll start getting dirty looks. Our pack is among the largest and strongest of packs. We are not your average softhearted puppy-pets, as are many of our... ahem... cousins, but rather stonehearted warriors who do not and will not hesitate to defend each other at the cost of our lives. It would be a good idea for you to keep your intentions and destinations to yourself. More than one of us is suspicious of any and all strangers. So go ahead and take a look around. Grab a bite to eat when the crabbier packmates, including myself, aren't watching, take a swim at the falls... whatever, for all I care. Just don't be here tomorrow unless you want to join us! We'll see about that.

Romeo's Duties

Finish your Border Patrol and report back to me in the Alpha's Den.

((... I'd also like for the person who roleplays as Romeo to make your activity known - otherwise you will be taken from your position. I can't have inactive Betas, now can I?))

Sky's Duties

Relieved from duties, for the moment.

(( Kudos to you, Alado/Pebble, for being one of the only people still active here XD ))

Amber's Duties

Relieved from duties for the moment.

((Until your roleplayer shows me he/she is active!))

Update + More Plot....

((Added a couple more songs to the Playlist......the one, Highwayman, is one of my favorites of all time. Rather dreary if you listen to the words, but a great song! (click de cut off 'pop-out' button to see all teh songs. :3 )
More plot. XD ))

Venom had left Sunray in the Hunter's den, with a quickly improvised excuse that he 'had business to attend to'. She accepted the words quite readily, which made Venom feel rather guilty. His only consolation was the fact that this meant he was a good liar.
The lie was true to some extent. Venom raced through the woods, his heart beating wildly. He had seen Rogue's condition after being attacked, and he had a pretty good idea of who was guilty.
"Funny," Venom thought as he pounded down the trail, "rather ironic how Rogue's name happens to be the term used for outcasts of a pack, and the wolves who attacked him. Poor guy." However, he soon dismissed these thoughts as he crossed over the Moonpack border and entered the swamp. The smell of the rogues was strong and fresh. They were expecting him.
Venom slowed his pace and carefully chose every pawstep. One misstep, and he would fall into and drown in the dark, forbidding, poisonous waters.
There was a rustle, and he looked up sharply. As he had expected and feared, the rogues emerged, one after the other, from the sickly plants. Their ears were pinned flat against their bony skulls and their crooked yellow teeth showed menacingly.
Venom tried to be casual. "You treat me as an intruder. Why?"
"You neglected us."
Venom flinched slightly at the tone. "I was busy. Besides, you can't expect the pack to not notice me just slipping off all the time, can you?"
"Stupid pack wolves wouldn't notice." The rogues' evil looks didn't waver.
"They noticed when you attacked my pack mate!!"
The larger of the two rogues tensed. Venom, shocked with both himself and the outcast's response, snapped "In any case, my apologies." He swished his tail irritably. "But now, because you couldn't wait one more day, Clawface has the entire pack on careful watch for you."
The rogues exchanged glances. When they looked back up, Venom saw some sort of strange glimmer in their dark, cruel eyes.
"....what?" Venom shifted from paw to paw uncertainly.
The smaller of the two stood. His eyes burned with wicked hate. "We need to move a step further."
"How so?" Venom growled.
~~~
As soon as the plan was explained, Venom nodded. "It'll work. I only hope you two fleabags aren't rabid or I'll need some serious help."
