THE PACK HAS REOPENED. GO DOWN AND READ THE LAST TWO POSTS RIGHT NOW. LIKE REALLY. RIGHT NOW.

Welcome to Visitors

Greetings. I am Clawface, the Alpha of these parts. I can see you're unfamiliar with my territory, yes? Come along. You'll find something similar to hospitality inside our camp, though not for more than a night or two or you'll start getting dirty looks. Our pack is among the largest and strongest of packs. We are not your average softhearted puppy-pets, as are many of our... ahem... cousins, but rather stonehearted warriors who do not and will not hesitate to defend each other at the cost of our lives. It would be a good idea for you to keep your intentions and destinations to yourself. More than one of us is suspicious of any and all strangers. So go ahead and take a look around. Grab a bite to eat when the crabbier packmates, including myself, aren't watching, take a swim at the falls... whatever, for all I care. Just don't be here tomorrow unless you want to join us! We'll see about that.

Romeo's Duties

Finish your Border Patrol and report back to me in the Alpha's Den.

((... I'd also like for the person who roleplays as Romeo to make your activity known - otherwise you will be taken from your position. I can't have inactive Betas, now can I?))

Sky's Duties

Relieved from duties, for the moment.

(( Kudos to you, Alado/Pebble, for being one of the only people still active here XD ))

Amber's Duties

Relieved from duties for the moment.

((Until your roleplayer shows me he/she is active!))

Leafbare is Rising

Clawface's yellow eyes flicked open. She lifted her head and cast her sharp gaze around her den beneath the Tallrock. She rose and stretched her paws in front of her, yawning and quivering slightly.
She emerged from the den and surveyed the camp. All seemed quiet and well. She sighed as a chill wind blew across her nose. Leafbare was coming; there was no doubt. The air said so, as did the rest of nature itself. The leaves that had once firmly clung to the trees now rested wearily on the ground, and dark, dreary clouds covered the bleak sky. Bare branches rose up in an attempt to pierce the clouds, as if they wished for them to leave.
Clawface put her nose to the ground and sniffed a few times aroud the blackberry brambles that circled the camp. Secure, as ever.
She raised her head again and headed for the warriors' den, nestled safely inside three large trees, that had fallen together to make a sort of beavers' dam-shaped enclosure.
"Night? Are you awake?"

  1. Clawface nodded. "Good. I'd like you to take a hunting trip with Phantom and Rogue. The fresh-kill pile is lower than I like."

((I'll play them for now until someone else wants to.))

  2. Night nodded her head sleepily. "OK" She said

  3. Clawface cast a yellow-eyed glance around the den before she said "Make it quick." She vanished outside the den with a swish of her tail.

  4. Night yawned. She got up and prodded Rogue. "Wake up" She said. Then she prodded Phantom "Wake up. She said.

  5. Rogue let out a small snarl, but he rose and stretched till his ears quivered.
Phantom flicked one ear lazily. He didn't move.
"What do you want?" He was in no mood for being woken up early.
Clawface pricked one ear and listened silently outside the den.

  6. ((Thanks for backing me up in cbox. At least someone here cares how others feel.))

Night looked at the two of them. "We need to go on a hunting patrol. The fresh kill pile is..." She tilted her head and looked outside "to small" She continued

  7. ((No problem :) ))

Phantom growled slightly. "Fine." He heaved his body off the gound and swished his tail a little. "Let's go."
Clawface smiled a wolfish smile and sliped away unheard.
